Those experiencing homelessness often go without some of the most basic necessities many of us take for granted everyday. 

This was one of the first initiatives of our outreach and it has made such a difference in the lives of our homeless friends.  It is amazing how we sometimes overlook the importance of the little items we use on a daily basis and the homeless are so appreciative when they receive these simple items.

Each year we hand out over 1000 hygiene kits to the homeless right here in Fort Worth!  
Our Street Outreach teams always leave a hygiene kit at campsites when they visit as well as a note to let them know we have been there and that we will return to check on them.

Personal Hygiene Kit Contents:
New Items - (Travel Size as most of our friends carry everything they own in a single backpack)

 

• Soap (body and/or hand soap)

• Shampoo/conditioner

• Deodorant

• Lotion

• Shaving cream

• 1 Disposable razor

• Toothpaste

• Toothbrush

• Lip Balm

• 1 Roll of toilet paper

• 1 Hair comb or brush

• Hand sanitizer

• 1 pair of new Socks

• Kleenex

• Small New Testament Bible 

* During Summer Months - a single 16oz water bottle is also included.

* During the COVID-19 Pandemic, a mask has been included in our hygiene kits as well.
