The Annual Point in Time Count is a nationwide event held in January to provide a snapshot of what homelessness looks like in one night for every community in the country. This year’s count will take place on January 23rd, 2025. Hands of Hope will be hosting the North East Tarrant County Division. To sign up with our location, register here.

 

Partnership Home needs around 500 volunteers to count and survey people living in unsheltered settings throughout Tarrant and Parker Counties. Your efforts will help us to understand what resources our community may need and identify community-wide strategies to end homelessness!

 

Volunteers must sign up individually at their designated location. If you do not have a team, you will be matched with other individual volunteers. Volunteers are assigned a route to canvass, identify, and interview people staying outside. Mandatory training will be provided to all volunteers via the web and on the night of the count.

 

Timeline of Point in Time Count:

5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. | Volunteer Check In & Route Assignment

6:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. | Mandatory Volunteer Training

7:15 p.m. | Volunteers are deployed to their assigned route
